TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to All Paws Pet Care! By booking an appointment or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Booking & Appointments
Appointments are by reservation only. We offer house call grooming, which takes place inside your home in a calm and controlled setting.
First-time clients must complete our Liability Waiver Form before services can be provided.
Please ensure your pet is accessible, clean, and reasonably dry upon our arrival.
Travel Fees
A travel fee applies to appointments located more than 10 km from our home base (near M4G Postal Code). This fee helps cover transportation time and costs.
Travel Fee Breakdown:
10–14.9 km → $20
15–19.9 km → $25
20–24.9 km → $30
25–29.9 km → $35
30 km max → $40 flat
Over 30 km → Not currently available unless otherwise arranged
Please note: The travel fee is not included in the grooming price and is a separate charge added to your total.
Clients will be informed of the applicable travel fee upon booking and charged after your appointment. By booking an appointment, you agree to the travel surcharge where applicable.
2. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows
We ask that you please reschedule or cancel at least 2 days (48 hours) before your appointment.
As a small business, last-minute cancellations and no-shows have a real impact on our schedule and other clients. To help us stay on track and respect everyone’s time (including yours), please review the following:
Late Cancellations (Less than 48 hours)
Your $50 non-refundable deposit will be charged.
Appointment Cancelled at the Door / No One Home
A $70 fee will be charged:
$50 deposit
$20 travel inconvenience fee
Please ensure someone is home and ready at the scheduled time.
Grace Period
We allow a 10-minute grace period. After 15 minutes with no response, the appointment will be marked as a no-show and the $70 fee will apply.
Life Happens
We understand things come up. If there’s an emergency or exceptional situation, please reach out. We always do our best to be compassionate when it’s truly needed.

3. Payments
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment.
Full payment is due at the time of service. We accept card, cash, and e-transfer.
Applicable taxes will be added to all services.
All payments are securely processed through Square, a trusted third-party provider. We do not store or access your full card details.
4. Liability & Pet Health
By booking with All Paws Pet Care, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
You confirm that your pet is in good health and up to date on vaccinations, unless otherwise disclosed.
You will disclose any behavioral issues, anxiety triggers, or health concerns in advance.
You understand that grooming involves tools, sharp instruments, and handling which may pose a risk, especially if your pet is anxious, reactive, or has medical issues.
We take every precaution to ensure a safe experience, but we are not liable for injury, stress-related responses, or unexpected reactions that occur during or after grooming.
If a medical emergency occurs, we will contact you immediately. If unreachable, we will seek veterinary care, and you are responsible for any associated costs.
5. Matting & Coat Condition
Severely matted pets may require shaving. This can expose pre-existing conditions or cause minor irritation.
We will never demat aggressively or painfully. Your pet’s comfort and safety come first.
Additional fees may apply for excessive matting.
6. Behavior & Safety
We use Fear Free and Force Free methods to create a positive experience for your pet.
We reserve the right to pause or stop the groom if your pet becomes distressed or poses a risk to themselves or the groomer.
A muzzle may be used only when necessary and in the safest way possible.
7. Privacy & Data
Your trust is important to us, and we take your privacy seriously.
We only collect the information necessary to manage your appointments and communicate with you. This includes your name, contact information, and relevant details about your pet.
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties.
Payment Security
All payments are processed securely through Square, a trusted third-party payment provider. We do not store, access, or see your full credit card details at any point.
Square uses industry-standard encryption and is PCI-compliant, meaning it follows strict security protocols to protect your information.
In the unlikely event of a security breach on Square’s platform, Square is responsible for managing and securing cardholder data. While we are not liable for third-party breaches, we will always do our best to communicate any relevant updates and support you through any necessary next steps.
How We Use Your Information We use your contact information to:
Schedule and manage your appointments
Send appointment confirmations, reminders, or service updates
Occasionally share important business updates or community news (you may opt out at any time)
If you ever have questions or concerns about how your information is handled, you are welcome to contact us directly.

9. Policy Updates
We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services after updates indicates your agreement to the changes.
