We strongly recommend your puppy’s first grooming experience happens between 10–14 weeks of age, ideally about one week after their second round of vaccinations. This is especially important for long-haired and double-coated breeds — starting early helps prevent matting, discomfort, and grooming anxiety down the road.

This gentle, introductory session focuses on building trust and positive associations with the grooming process.

We use a hypoallergenic, tear-free puppy shampoo that's safe for sensitive skin. Clippers are not used during this first visit — instead, we introduce your pup to our grooming tools slowly and calmly, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience.

HOW PRICING WORKS:

Starting price: +$90

When you book an appointment, you’ll receive a quote based on the grooming service you request. However, the final price will be confirmed by the groomer at the time of your appointment.

Why? Because every dog is different, and so is every groom.

FACTORS THAT MAY AFFECT FINAL PRICING INCLUDE:

  • Size of the dog

  • Coat condition (e.g matting, undercoat, etc.)

  • Behaviour during grooming (nervous or reactive dogs may require more time and care)

These things can change from visit to visit, so we assess each dog individually to make sure we’re giving them the time and care they need while being fair in pricing.

    • Visual Inspection – We check for redness, odour, or signs of infection

    • No Invasive Tools – We only clean what’s safely visible and avoid going deep into the ear canal
